The spec allows each warning at most once per chart per binding, and an adapter that resolves declarations at two entry points — the payload pass and the highlight pass both re-walk the chart — otherwise says everything twice. Pass any object that lives as long as the binding and no longer: the author's own block, the slot it was read from, the series. Every warning raised against a context carrying one is said once per object.
validateDeclaration needs none, and ignores this when the block it was handed is itself an object: keying on the author's block is what stops a corrected block from being silenced, since rewriting it produces a new object that is reported afresh.
