One selector per series, or undefined when they cannot be told apart
One selector per series of a line-family chart, each naming that series' own dots.
Recharts 3 draws every series' dots into one layer above the chart -- the
g.recharts-zIndex-layer_600it keeps for points -- one group per series, in the order the series are drawn, and nothing on a group or a dot says which series it belongs to. The class selector a single series uses matches every series' dots at once, which the core cannot pair with any one series, so a chart of several series had no highlight at all. Each group is named here by its place among the groups of its class instead, which counts the series' dots alone, whatever else that layer holds.dotSeriesis where each series' dots are: the series that draw them, in the order they are drawn. A series that draws none has no group, and every group after it moves up one place, so a series missing from it, or named twice inyKeys, leaves the layer unhighlighted rather than outlining another series' dots.Measured on Recharts 3.8.1. Recharts 2 and the 3.x releases before 3.4 draw a series' dots inside that series' own group, where no group has another beside it; the selectors match nothing there, and the chart keeps its audio, text and braille without a highlight, as before.
