Idempotent and cheap, so it can be called whenever a host may have appeared:
when the bundle is evaluated (ioslides builds its deck at
DOMContentLoaded), at DOMContentLoaded and load (reveal.js, Quarto's
search), and whenever a chart takes focus (a storyboard built later, and
the React and adapter bundles, which have no entry script to call this).
