What reading one series of a chart needs, so the reader loads only what this
reading uses: a pie has no axes to ask about, and a type MAIDR does not know
is not read at all.
A series of a chart that is a whole chart of its own -- a histogram, a
treemap -- is read as the chart's type says, whatever type the series
reports; any other series as its own type, or the chart's when it reports
none, since in a combo chart each series has its own.
