Plotly.js Dot Plot

A Cleveland dot plot: a scatter trace in markers mode with one marker per category. MAIDR announces it as the chart the author drew rather than as a scatter — a dot plot is a bar chart with a dot where the bar would be, so a reader navigates one category and one value, and the category is a name rather than a coordinate. Two markers on one category would make it a scatter again, and it is left as one.
