MAIDR + amCharts 5 Pyramid, Dot Plot and Lollipop

amCharts has no series class for any of these three, so each is an ordinary XY series styled into the mark the author wanted. What the adapter reads is therefore what the data says — a pyramid is two column series on opposite sides of the baseline — or, where the data says nothing, what the styling says: a hairline column with a bullet on the end is a lollipop.

Population pyramid: two column series, one side negated

Cleveland dot plot: a line series with its stroke switched off

Lollipop: columns narrowed to a stem
