MAIDR + amCharts 5 Floating-Column Charts

amCharts draws three different charts with the same construct: a ColumnSeries whose bars float between two values instead of rising from a baseline. What the interval means is what makes them three charts, and MAIDR reads each one as what it is.

• A waterfall chains — each bar opens where the one before it closed — so it carries a contribution and a running total, and the pitch follows the contribution.
• A dumbbell's pairs are independent, so the finding is the change between the two ends. Up and Down walk the ends, Left and Right the categories.
• A gantt's interval is a stretch of time. Pitch carries the length and stereo position carries the start, so two tasks that overlap sound like they overlap.
